Class Descriptions

Core Conditioning (45 min.)  This class combines upper and lower body conditioning while utilizing and building core strength using a variety of resistance and weight equipment.

Cardio Mix (60 min.)  A mix of lo impact with a little high impact to spice it up!  This intermediate class will start with muscle conditioning and include 30-40 minutes of cardiovascular training.  Relaxation and stretch to finish.

 Zumba (60 min.)   A fusion of Latin and International music using dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! Combining high energy with motivating music the unique moves and combinations allow participants to dance away their worries.  Zumba is a "feel-happy" workout that is great for the body and the mind. All levels welcome.

Cardio Dance (60 min.)   An intermediate/advanced class combining modern and jazz dance.  Dance background recommended  Muscle conditioning included.

Aqua Aerobics (60 min.)  A non-impact aerobic and muscle conditioning workout.  All levels welcome.

Basic Moves (60 min.)  A basic non-dance workout that focuses on alignment and flexibility throughout the class.  Warm-up, cardiovascular and muscle conditioning are a part of this gentle yet effective approach to fitness. Class format may vary. All levels welcome.

Muscle Mix (55 min.)  Total body conditioning, with design in mind, to define and strengthen muscle groups.  This class uses it all, hand weights, physio balls, bodybars, tubing and the step.  A great way to spend your lunch hour.  No aerobics.

Body Change (60 min.)  This class will inform and transform you!  Your energy will build as non-impact movements integrate with muscular exercise, utilizing full range of motion that increases cardiovascular endurance.  All levels welcome.

Step Combo (60 min.)  An intermediate step class with 45-50 minutes of step with easy to follow combinations that work your mind and body. Class will end with a stretch to finish. Step experience recommended.

Cardio Core & Step (45 min.) This class includes a 30-minute cardio workout using simple and fun step combinations with a rotating format keeping it fresh and exciting. A variety of equipment will be used for core conditioning.

Cardio Kickboxing (60 min.) This class is specially designed to increase speed, strength and stamina while encouraging proper form and balance through drill based kickboxing exercises set to music. All levels welcome.

Camp Cardio (60 min.)  A blend of cardio and strength training using a variety of exercise formats and equipment. This class is designed to be intense for the fitness enthusiast, yet safe for the novice exerciser by keeping the movements simple but effective.

Yoga (60-70 min.)  Using classic standing, seated and reclined yoga posture with an emphasis on correct body alignment, this class will relieve muscle tension and stress in the body using the attention of the mind.  Yoga restores energy and calms the mind.  All levels welcome.

EnerQi Yoga (60 min.)  In this class yoga poses are alternated with qigong movements creating a balance of physical and mental strength.  All levels welcome.

Yin Yoga (45 min.) Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, moving a balancing energy through the acupressure of the deep postures. It is meditative and very therapeutic for body, mind and spirit. All levels welcome.

Pilates Mat (60 min.)  Inspired by Joseph H. Pilates, a series of gentle exercises performed on a mat that brings about improved strength in the abdominal and the back while creating greater flexibility in the body, improving muscle tone and control while relieving tension.  All levels.

Cycle Classes (45-60 min.)

It's a workout for your mind, a challenge for your body.  Start pedaling and let go as your instructor takes you on the ride of your life.  It's perfect for fitness enthusiasts, recreational cyclists or serious racers.  Cycle classes challenge both aerobic and anaerobic thresholds through the use of interval training. If you have not taken a class please arrive early to get properly fitted on a bike.  It will make your ride much more enjoyable.

Cycle Class General Information.
· Reservations can be made 50 hours in advance.  Once you reserve a spot it is yours.
· Can sign up in advance for a monthly fee.
· You may cancel a reservation 4 hours or more prior to the class without a fee.  Less than four hours notice will be a $3.00 charge-No show $10.00 charge.
· Instructor will check in participants at time of class
· Cycle room is locked 5 minutes after class starts-no late- comers allowed.
· Cycle classes are held in cycle room.
